Best Hunting Applications

I know your all probably thinking. You hunt with a traditional bow, but you also use an iPhone during your hunt? My answer is yes!!! That is what we are about, merging the traditional archery community with the modern day man. I started to get interested in traditional archery, because I felt that shooting a compound was just to easy. I lost the chill factor and I knew I was ready for a change. I believe that the hunting industry is going to revert back to our traditional ways, just like our culture does with everything, medicine, power, etc.. However, that does not mean I am going to strip down to my bare skin or wear plaid. I hope your getting my point. I really feel that in the next 5-10 years the hunting community is going to revert back to a more challenging approach. With all that being said, here are my favorite two apps, that I have found.

Mossy Oak Hunting App

unnamed

What does it include? You can set multiple stand locations based on wind directions. It keeps track of weather and radar for your current position. Global positioning keeps track of your current position. This is the most universal hunting app that I have found, you never have to switch back and forth between apps for hunting situations.  If your like me I forget which wind is best for each stand set. This app shows your exactly where your scent stream is headed.  Finally, you can’t get lost with this app because it tracks your position, unless of course your phone goes dead. I really do not see a need for any additional hunting apps at this time.

3d Score Card

This app is perfect for shooting 3d courses. You can enter multiple archers, courses, and preferences. It also keeps a history of all your events. Perfect for keeping track of leagues or just for fun. What I like the best about having this app is no more score cards and pencils. They have an app for that..
